ShaZam Racing is an Illinois-based timing and scoring company with specialized expertise in race event management.

In addition to hosting our own proprietary road and cross country races, ShaZam provides timing and scoring for clients producing their own road races (5K, 10K, half marathon, marathon) as well as track & field and cross country at the junior high through collegiate levels.

ShaZam Racing is known for top-notch customer service and cutting-edge knowledge of the best technology offered in today's marketplace. Both of these significantly heighten the experience for the end user.

We focus on creating memorable events that are welcoming and exciting, and we insist on providing exceptional goods, services, and technology to empower event managers, race directors, athletic directors, and coaches to provide a five star experience for all participants at every race. The ShaZam Story

ShaZam Racing, formerly RC Race Management, was founded in 2012.

The idea was born years before, however, when ShaZam Cofounder Adam White took over Running Central (now RC Outfitters) in 2007. Adam had seen major growth in participation in the sport and lifestyle of running. He envisioned a way to grow the tribe and physically bring the running community together more often through memorable road racing events.

His dream was to augment the greatness of events like the Steamboat Classic with more running events for Central Illinois, so he reached out to Bradley Henz. Brad and Adam were friends from high school and college, and Brad was getting back into running when they reunited. Adam pitched the idea, Brad saw the potential and embraced the excitement, and RC Race Management was born.

RC Race Management started off strong and grew steadily from there. The name, however, didn't quite capture the passion and energy of what they were doing, why they were different from other timers and scorers, or how they were more than just hired help. This team partners with clients in event production, helps each event grow, and brings their own passion, experience, and enthusiasm to every event to make it better and better. For this reason, RC Race Management became ShaZam Racing. It brings a smile to everyone's face when it’s spoken, and those smiles are everything to this team.
